The pattern in the orders
We read our own order book every week. One thing shows up again and again, and it took us a while to say it out loud.
Nine out of ten people who buy Kilishi from us do not buy one pack. They buy several. Six is common. Twelve is more common than you would guess.
The single pack is not the popular choice. It is the trial.

One pack never lasts the week
A 60g pack is small. That is the point. It fits a gym bag, a desk drawer, a glovebox, a school bag.
It also disappears. People open a pack meaning to make it last three days. It goes in one sitting, or it gets shared, and by the time they think about it again there is nothing left.
That is the honest reason people come back for more. Not a discount. They simply ran out sooner than they planned to.
What is actually in the pack
Every 60g pack carries 24g of protein. Real beef, nothing else pretending to be beef. No soy filler, no artificial preservatives.
It is sun dried in Katsina, hand seasoned, then roasted over an open fire. Groundnut paste, ginger, cloves, chilli, tigernut, dates, black pepper, African nutmeg. Northern Nigerian spices, ground the way they have always been ground.
It is NAFDAC certified. It keeps for twelve months from production, and it does not need a fridge.
Which is why stocking up is not a risk
People hesitate to buy several packs of anything perishable. Kilishi is not perishable in the way fresh food is. Drying is the preservation. That is the whole tradition.
Twelve months of shelf life means a box in the cupboard is not a gamble. It is just Kilishi you have not eaten yet.
Stock up
Buy for the month, not the afternoon
The 12 Pack works out at ₦3,333 a pack, the best per pack price we do. Same day delivery in Lagos on orders before 12pm.
Where the packs actually go
We ask people. The answers are always practical.
One in the gym bag, because the drive home after training is when the bad decisions happen. One in the car. Two or three in the office drawer, which never survive the week once a colleague finds them. A few at home for the kids after school, because it beats biscuits and it is real protein.
Nobody is rationing a single pack. They are placing packs where they will need them.

Buy the way you will actually eat it
If you have never had our Kilishi, take one pack. Find out whether it is for you. That is what the single is for.
If you already know, stop buying one at a time. Buy six. Buy twelve. Put them where you will need them and stop running out.
That is what the mob does.
