MOBKILISHI BMX JAM: THE DAY WE CLAIMED THE PARK
by MOB KILISHI
May 31st, 2025 — Lagos Encourage Park, Lagos.
No fancy speeches. No fences. Just bikes, boys, and raw ambition.
If you missed it, here’s what went down at the very first MOBKILISHI BMX Jam — and why it matters more than you think.
More Than Just Tricks
What surprised us most? The riders themselves. They showed up early — bikes tuned, helmets tight, nerves buzzing. It was a blazing hot Saturday, so we chilled a bit till the sun calmed down, but the energy never did.
Weekly training sessions had built something special: commitment. The boys weren’t just there to stunt — they came to represent. And they did.
Superman and Stickers
The trick of the day? Easy. Friday Elisha Moyse — aka PhrydayBMX — pulled a wild Superman mid-air that dropped jaws and shook the park. Nobody else dared it. Legend.
Of course, no street jam is complete without a little drama. A few tempers flared — it happens. BMX isn’t ballet. We settled it quick and got back to the grind.
A personal highlight? We printed fresh MOBKILISHI BMX stickers — thanks to a rider who doubles as a printer — and seeing those slapped on bikes and helmets was a vibe.
The Ones That Took It Home
At the end of the day, it was all love — but a few names rose above:
🏆 Grand Prize: Ebuka — cash prize + a box of Kilishi (he earned every bite)
💥 Best Trick: Friday — for that insane Superman
😎 Most Stylish: CJ Rider — the park never looked so smooth
Big shoutout to Seph_Simms too — the underdog who turned heads and proved he’s one to watch
Why this Matters
This jam meant everything to Lagos BMX crew. Once again, the community showed the world it’s a brotherhood — hungry, talented, ready to grow.
MOBKILISHI is here for exactly that. To back the riders. Fuel the movement. Give these guys the support they deserve — packs of Kilishi today, bigger stages tomorrow.
What’s Next?
This was only the beginning. Next up? Don of the Streets — July 26th, 2025. One raw spot. One crown. Same energy. Even more madness.
